On David H. Koch (1940-2019)

Can you blame a son for walking in the path of his father?

David Koch's father witnessed the horrors of communism first hand in the Soviet Union.In reaction he became one of the most fervent right wing activists in American History. His son's carried that torch and have devoted a considerable sum of money towards moving the American mind towards values that might inoculate it from the errors and terrors of collectivism. Sadly extremism is destructive in all cases. Koch's legacy for now appears to be the Trumpian revolution. In the best case his contributions to medicine and science will stand the test of time, while his contributions to political extremism relegated to obscure footnotes.And here we are...
